The "Sentier du Littoral", a pathway around the Bay has different independent parts. These are: "Le Domaine de Certes", "Les Conches de Saint-Brice", "Les Prés Salés" between Arès and Claouey and the "Sentier du Littoral du Delta de la Leyre".

I'll give you an overview of the last one, also called "Sentier du Littoral du Teich". This part is close to our house.

With a length of 5 kilometres it represents a very nice walk. It is possible to do it by bicycle.

At the path beginning on your right hand a sight of Gujan Mestras

and a wild hen

On your right hand the ornithological park that you'll follow up to the end of your walk

Lanton

Further very pleasant and quiet beaches where children can run, swim and play.

On the other side of the Bay: Audenge, Lanton, Ares, Andernos, Claouey

The delta of the Leyre river is a jewel for your eyes.

Depending on the season and the day's time you'll see all the winged fauna of Europe, flying or fishing or swimming.

A lot of storks have their kingdom at the end of the pathway, close to the restaurant "Le café du Delta".
