Location:

On the Arcachon Bay, 50 km from Bordeaux-Mérignac's airport, 14 km to Arcachon, 20 km to the Ocean and especially 1 km to the famous reserve of wild birds of Le Teich.

Where are we situated?

Gujan Mestras has about 18.000 inhabitants and extends over almost 6.000 ha.

Our house is on the East border of the town, 5 minutes by foot to the forest and 15 minutes to the Bay's coast.

2 km to the centre of the village. Everything can be made by bicycle (including a magnificent trip along the Bay's coast between the Bay and the ornithological park: 6 km one way). Excellent opportunities for mountain biking and long bicycle tracks are easily reachable.

Shopping: Shops and 2 supermarkets are at approx. 1 mile.

5 kilometres around there are totally 4 supermarkets: Champion and Lidl (1 km), Super U (3 km in Le Teich) and Hyper U (5km). The Wednesday's market in Gujan is close to the station, the Saturday's market is in the center of Le Teich.

- Le Teich: 3 km

- On the Bay: La Hume 8 km, easily reachable by bike, Arcachon and Le Moulleau (15 km).

- Ocean beaches 20 km: "Le Petit Nice" and "LaLagune" (for naturists).

Sports: fishing, bowling, canoeing, kayak, golf, surfing, etc.

Attractions/curiosities: numerous (Casino, Aqualand, Kidspark, the Little Port for children on the Madeleine Lake, etc.)
